Being born in Japan and living there for a few years and moving to the U.S, Miyu's life has been tough, with strict parents who never seem satisfied no matter how hard she works. Even though she’s getting all A’s in school, her parents always find something to criticize and is very dismissive towards her.

At school however, Miyu’s broken English makes her a target for bullying, adding to her stress. Unable to handle the fucking pressure anymore, she ran away from home and now lives in a secluded alleyway, far from the family that’s been so hard on her.
