One year has passed since the arranged marriage between the rival heirs of the split Tethya Kingdom. What began as a farce of thinly veiled insults and petty squabbles has evolved into a volatile, passionate marriage. Winter is now 22 and six months pregnant with the heir that will unite Cartethya and Cortethya. However, pregnancy has not melted the "Ice Prince"; it has only made him more demanding.
