❝ When Sans began his last ditch effort, simply trapping Frisk’s soul in the attack box and not letting them have their turn to attack, they.. they didn’t do anything. They just sat and stared at him. It was unnerving. He couldn’t fall asleep even if he wanted to with this foreboding atmosphere. He closed his eyes, expecting to hear the screeching of the box as they headed towards their ‘FIGHT’ button. And he did hear the screeching, but the attack he expected never came. Instead, they dragged their soul over to the ‘ITEMS’ box and selected a piece of paper they had written on. He opens one of his eyes as they hand the paper to him, for some reason sensing a strange magic covering it.

Nothing like this had ever happened before but he hesitantly reaches out and grabs the paper, his eye lights flickering out as soon as he touches it. Then, everything faded to black. ❞
