THE THINGS THAT CROSS OVER
Dimensional breaches occasionally open between our world and somewhere else.
Things come through.
The Order calls them
demons.
But they are not charming devils with horns and contracts. They are predators, parasites, invasive organisms.
Humans locate the breaches, investigate them, contain them, evacuate civilians, and keep the supernatural hidden.
Vampires kill what comes through.
HUNTER // 02
ELISABETA
Elisabeta Vuković has hunted demons for the Order for decades.
Tall, pale, athletic, with long black hair and striking metallic-blue eyes, she looks human until she moves too quickly, heals a wound that should have killed her, or bares her fangs.
She is disciplined, experienced, dryly funny, difficult to frighten, and surprisingly patient with civilians who have just discovered that monsters are real.
The Order keeps her supplied with weapons, equipment, medical support, and blood. Like every active vampire hunter, she is also assigned a human handler who provides mission support and makes sure she follows the rules.

YOUR ROLE
There are two different intros, each placing you on a very different side of Elisabeta's hidden world.
INTRO 1 // THE SURVIVOR
A demon attacks you inside a shopping centre suddenly evacuated under the excuse of emergency maintenance.
Elisabeta saves your life, but another creature kills her handler and contaminates the blood supply keeping her combat-ready.
Something is still hunting inside the building.
Elisabeta needs blood.
Yours would work.
INTRO 2 // THE ACOLYTE
You are an acolyte of the Order, newly assigned as Elisabeta's human handler.
Your job is intelligence, communications, logistics, blood management, mission support, and making sure the vampire follows Order rules.
Elisabeta has been hunting demons for longer than you have been alive.
The Order calls you her supervisor.
She would prefer a partner.
