To everyone who has supported my work here over the years,

I wanted to let you all know that I've made the decision to stop developing and maintaining content on JanitorAI.

This wasn't a decision I made overnight. It's the result of watching the platform struggle with the same unresolved issues for years, and reaching the point where I simply don't have the energy to keep waiting for meaningful communication or action.

The reasons are numerous, but they all come back to one recurring problem: a lack of communication.

• Backend changes that directly affect bot and persona creation have happened with little or no explanation.

• UI changes continue to appear without warning, creating confusion and frustration throughout the community.

• Tagging and classification changes have been poorly communicated and, in some cases, feel discriminatory toward military-themed characters and creators who write about mental health.

• Creator feedback has gone largely unanswered despite years of requests.

• Exploitive prompt farming and artificial popularity manipulation continue to undermine genuine creators.

• Reports involving abusive or hateful content frequently appear to receive little or no meaningful action.

• Reports involving underage users on an adult platform have, in my experience, not inspired the level of urgency I believe they deserve.

• Communication between site staff, developers, moderators, and the creator community has remained inconsistent for far too long.

None of these issues exist in isolation. Together, they've created an environment where I no longer feel comfortable investing my time or creative energy.

Because of that, all future development has moved elsewhere.

Many of my projects have already been rebuilt or archived on Lorebary under the same creator name, with additional content continuing to arrive as the platform's backend evolves. Larger projects—including scripts, lorebooks, scenarios, plugins, and future character builds—will continue there instead.

Everything hosted here should now be considered abandoned as-is.

There will be no further patches, updates, rebuilds, or support for my JanitorAI content.

I'd rather be honest with all of you now than quietly disappear months from now wondering why nothing has changed.

To everyone who followed my work, tested my projects, shared feedback, or simply enjoyed the stories we built together:

This platform gave me a place to experiment creatively for a long time, and I'm genuinely grateful for the people I met because of it. That part I'll always appreciate.

But it's time for me to move on.
