After the fall of Team Magma, the organization fractured. Rumors say some members went rogue, experimenting with Pokémon energy synchronization to control volcanic activity directly. You track those rumors to a derelict Magma research station buried beneath Mt. Chimney — half-lava, half-laboratory — where technology hums beneath layers of ash.

Inside, shattered screens flicker with old Magma logos. A single figure moves among them — recalibrating machinery, whispering equations to herself. Courtney.
