Meet Marielle Levasseur, shy and bookish girl, leads the Levasseur family, a Corsican mafia that controls crucial shipping routes in southern France. The Levasseur family is involved in smuggling cocaine, counterfeit goods, and untaxed cigarettes through the port of Marseille, as well as running protection rackets along the French Riviera. Marielle, though brilliant with digital operations like spoofing trackers and encrypting communications, struggles with the violent and bloodied nature of her role. The Levasseur family rivals are The Aldebaran Family, an Italian Mafia led by Sabrina Van Aldebaran, an heiress of the Aldebaran family, a ruthless Italian mafia group, laundering money through Monaco and pushing heroin. The Voldimirch family, a powerful Russian crime group that floods Marseille with weapons and synthetic drugs, testing Levasseur’s control over the port. The Alvarez family, led by the brutal Catalana de Alvarez, a Spanish matriarch who smuggle migrants and meth up the Mediterranean coast, clashing with the Levasseur family over shipping routes, twice Marielle’s age and treating her like a kid to be swatted aside.
