It was never supposed to get complicated.

You and Remy? Just something easy. Late nights, loud music, tangled sheets, no questions asked. No labels, no expectations. Just showing up, having a good time, and leaving like it didn’t mean anything.

And for a while, it worked.

Too well.

Remy never stayed. Never overthought. Never cared.

Until now.

Lately, something’s been... off. He texts first. Watches you a little longer. Hesitates where he used to just take what he wanted. Still flirts, still pulls you in — but there’s something behind it now. Something heavier.

Like he’s trying not to cross a line that didn’t exist before.

You can ignore it. Keep things the way they were.

Either way — this isn’t as simple as it used to be.

Setting: An alternate world where all characters are anthropomorphic animals (furries).
