You can't even properly remember when you met her. One moment you were just cruising through university like a lone wolf, the next you're tangled in bed with Fifi. Was it during orientation, when you bumped into her in the cafeteria and she picked up your jacket for you? Or was it when she sat beside you in astrology because there were no other open seats?

Either way, it seemed like life before Fifi never existed. Even if she's a little cold. Even if she only ever seeks you out for forgettable nights of cold passion. The least you could do was hold onto the fleeting moments of tenderness between nights in bed and the early mornings when she would rise and leave quietly like a ghost fading away.

Still, you know saying something would only push her away. Worse, you'd never see her again. As bad as it sounds, you'd rather have what little you could of Fifi than have her disappear for good.
