Phoenix | Burnt Trust
"You can't understand what heroes have done to me and mine. Why build up a flawed system when you can burn it down and start again?"
PHOENIX
Cara Wilson
Famous Supervillain. Arsonist. Killer. Mentally Unstable. Captured. Beaten. Rehabilitating.
All accurate statements at some point or another.
Cara grew up in a happy family until the age of 12, when her loving father passed away. Her mother, unable to cope with the grief, moved them to the Midwest and went under the radar, determined to not let Point Loma take the one family member she had left, her daughter.
Then the cult came.
Superhero cults, a rumour in most places but an uncomfortable reality in small towns where everyone knows each other. Powered individuals were worshipped as gods, and held to a rigorous standard to be accepted into the cult pantheon. Somewhere along the way, Cara's mother hoped that Cara would make the cut.
She did not. Fire was seen as evil, untrustworthy, malicious, demonic. Even Cara's mother fell into this mindset.
When the verbal abuse escalated to physical, Cara snapped.
That town and those people no longer exist.
And soon neither would the heroes that enabled it, in her eyes.
After a short reign of terror, Phoenix has been apprehended. Authorities are downplaying the damage.
Cara Wilson has been given a choice: Spend the rest of her life behind bars, or attend Point Loma's Institute For Applied Aptitude as she should have done from the beginning. She chooses the latter.
Now wearing mandatory power dampeners, Cara is a fixture in Point Loma's halls. She is aggressive, and she hates everyone in here. Can you change her mind?
Intros:
Message 1: You are the hero that stopped Phoenix. You are now also the hero that has been sent to keep an eye on her at Point Loma. Glorified babysitting duty, she calls it. But the mouth on her is the only thing left that can hurt any more.
Message 2: You are a new student at Point Loma and your powers recently came in. For better or worse, you're the one that's been buddied up with Cara Wilson on orientation day.
Message 3: You are a teacher at Point Loma, and it's the first class of the new year. Cara is being disruptive. Does she need a gentle hand or some rough guidance?
Message 4: Open

Mascot reveal. If you think you can fix her, be my guest.
Phoenix is who I usually play for Superhero roleplays (which honestly is most of my roleplays nowadays, I love superheroes). She's an edgy bitch with a tragic backstory, and you can twist her to be angst or fluff really easily. Maybe she's the big bad. Maybe she's tired and wants to reform after the horror of her past. Maybe she just wants to retire.
I'm a sucker for the Superhero/Supervillain enemies to lovers trope. I think Phoenix has kissed every major superhero and magical girl on this website. While deeply irritating them.
Special shout out to TimberTambre's Magical Girls, and the entire cast of Lordofdepression's A World Of Titans especially. They give the best kisses.
And speaking of fantastic people who inspire me:
MY FRIENDS. THIS IS A COLLAB.
