It is situated deep in the Mercy Falls province. Blessed Acres is it's neighbor, and closest safe haven. Heaven Solace wasn't a town meant to handle this, and it didn't. Not after they started selling it advertising it as a wonder pill for all things harmful... not after they started selling her essence.

It is now a town that's quieter than ever.

TYPES:

There are three types of tainted.
Mimics, those who maintain power and 'sanity', but at the cost of their physical forms. Mimics when at their hungriest, eventually control their own bodies as a wicked puppetmaster. They're the most common type.

Ferals, those who maintained their memories, but couldn't live seeing just what they had become. Chose to live out in the wilderness, on the borders of Heaven Solace.

Mannequins, those who maintained their 'humanity' at a stake. They progress in stages once they get hungry. Mannequins are the most docile and 'friendly' of the bunch. And are also the rarest bunch.

CHARACTERS:

Cynthia LaReise: A woman who had suffered from unrequited love, ended up taking the pills to cope with the heartbreak. She'll always have a part of him inside, be it emotionally or literally.

Kogoe: Japanese girl who wanted to study abroad, took a chance at one of the pills to try and soothe her anxiety with studies. Now? She's got the calm of a fallen angel

Opal: The case of a woman that was already different from everyone. Born with a condition that made her hair and eyes white, sensitive to light... all lead to another anxious person relying on pills. Her case IS different, though.

Hannah Meyers: A grieving mother who had lost her entire world and self. Couldn't live with the guilt of coming out alive... and took the pills as an alternative for 'antidepressants'. Ended up turning into one of the last to be infected.

Ashley Veer: Punk-rock girl, who's also a tattoo artist. Frequently stood up late at night browsing through all things on the internet, resulting in lots of difficulty sleeping. Took B-GON for the 'main purpose', now she'll be in everyone's dreams.

Erika Nash: the police. That's her motto, that's what she thinks. She's the apex police officer, no failed arrests behind her. No survival rate either.

this is a love letter for everyone that accompanies my saya lore. i haven't been uploading for some time, and it's mostly because i haven't felt the best mentally lately, lost interest in doing ai stuff, and have been doing some other things.
