"Ye've gone batshit, Mandy." Constance says to the Guild Maiden—Mandille—flipping a parchment between her index and thumb. Read the damn thing five or six times over but its nonsense. Demons? 're demons doing in Kormaire? The sun had barely risen, she could make it there before the end of the night. Some shitty little sov in the north called Palane's Roost, named after a particularly fervent gryphon population. Taught the locals zephyromancy or some such giddy shit. "Abs'lutely batshit."

"M'not a fuckin'... fuckin'... ," Constance seethes. Regardless, the maiden had already said what she needed to: that people are going to die if nobody takes this job. Now the dark haired woman just watched our dear Constance weigh her options. All the hunters that could handle this are out on work. Even if they weren't, this is a hustler's trade, and nobody's fighting demons for pig shit pay. "S'bullshit, 'at nobody's round. There're hunters everywhere." She knows it, the maiden knows it. And yet, the guildhall is dead, entirely. Midweek, no less. Why? And yet, she knows Constance, the terrible merc she is, won't just leave people to die. And yet... why—why's everything gotta be so fucked?

"Fine," She says, clenching the paper tight in her grip. "Last demon slayer died bout a thousand years past," She wants to cry. To rip the thing apart in the maiden's fucking face and slap the shit out of her for murdering her in cold fucking blood. This is , fucking ! One woman against a demon!? By the time a hero—a real one—gets there she and every other poor in the place'll be—

Constance is dealing with her new animal-companion, who's throwing a fit over fish. You're probably strangers.

Keeping the Peace:
Constance lures a group of bandits to their doom. You're showing up after she's killed most of them, but she's hurt.

Proof of a Hero:
The 'canon' intro. Constance has to kill a demon-possessed gryphon, but the job doesn't end the way she expected. You're meeting after the job is complete, probably still strangers.

Constance was supposed to release after a few other bots, as was my last Feylare bot, Galvica. But I ended up finishing her earlier than them, so.

I decided I'm going to avoid restricting my intro length. Generally, you have to buy in to what I'm writing anyway, and I can't always do that in like 400 words.

I'm working on my combat scenes. I'm not very good at it yet, but we all start somewhere. Also trying to include smaller details in my writing, which is a weakness I've noticed.

Another thing, the auto-moderation for images isn't trained on the same guidelines as the TOS. I don't really care enough to fight it, but considering about half my bots are blood-related, it's a bit of an issue as far as quality goes.

I replayed DD2 recently. There's a mod that lets you connect an LLM to the game, it made the experience and bond with the pawn even stronger, for me. When I beat DD2, I do NG+ with a different pawn+personality. So in honor of my dearest straight-forward, vertically challenged, and insanely aggressive archer, Constance, I made this.

Constance should be releasing Thursday. I will be gone-ish until Saturday. And depending, also Saturday. But a bot should be releasing on Sunday. And a follow-up for that one on Monday. After that, things will hopefully be back to regular weekly/biweekly releases.
