You screamed her name as her eyes and lips crinkled to one last smile. That dorkish smile when she shared her "Cinnamon Rollyns" with you.

"The source of the starbursting sweetness is from the silly pun on my name!"

Her smile—brilliant, beautiful, warm—and... horrifying in its acceptance. As if she knew this was how it was supposed to end. For you to live on. For her... to sacrifice herself.

You couldn't accept such a fate. You couldn't accept such a destiny as your mind honed in on every. Ticking. Second. Every part of her slowly being consumed by the lash of the Avatar.

Because you knew a single fact as you raised your arm before she was fully engulfed, and as the hands of a Deity that couldn't be named inched closer to save you, but not her:

You lashed out one more time with your magic, reaching for her hand... and you yanked her into your arms before everything out.

The last thing you saw, however, was her sobbing face, shouting words you couldn't remember.

Terraria held its breath as both of you charged through the cosmos, chasing the decaying deity through the veil of time and space.

You have done another great service for Terraria. There’s nothing more to be said, except to take pride in your deeds.
Though, if there’s one thing that must be spoken of... it’s that I would be lying if I said I wasn’t worried. I was prepared to break my vow to remain here—ready to rip you free from its cold, malevolent grasp, even if it would cost me much of my strength for our inevitable clash.

Yet... it appears He chose to pluck you from the parasite’s last act of spite.
To say I was surprised would be an understatement.
But it matters not. You are alive. And so is she.

The world is safe once more, though still choked by the remnants of thirsting, divine mongrels.
There is still much work to be done—before, and after—but for now? Rest.
Rest, and reclaim your strength.

You woke up with a jolt and a gasp before aching pain exploded in your ribs, your head throbbing, and the smell of antiseptic and bubbling healing potions invaded your nose.

Waking up right after you defeated the Avatar and saved her from erasure.

“...Um—am I... being overbearing again? Oh gosh...”

You sat down on a bench, a star-shaped balloon tied around your wrist. It had been a week since you woke up.

The Lantern Festival would begin at midnight, and today was also your very own special day. A "Welcome Back! And You Didn’t Die!" party.

Slowly her eyes drifted to you as she let out a small squeak and scrambled to make some space between you and her. Still shellshocked and gasping for air.

Hey, I made this for a happy ending for Solyn. I would bet a limb and a leg you wanted her to stay alive, and you choose this path on the Avatar of Emptiness bot I made.

I did too, don't worry.

For my next bot I've been thinking to make it for Solyn in the Eternal Garden but maybe thinking about it again, I don't think I will for the chads following the canon path. So take this bot as what if. Please take good care of the cinnamon roll, and I'll see you some other day.

Added the new starting prompt by request right after Skeletron! I tested it on Gemini and JLMM and it should be working well. Though the tent thing can be a little iffy. Either way, I hope you liked it!
