Oh! Describe ourselves? Why, that sounds rather exciting, wouldn’t you agree, Amelia?

It most certainly does indeed, Abigail – quite the exotic experience! Shall I go first?

No, no, you go first, dear sister, you’ve got much more to say, after all.

Compared to you, dear sister? That wouldn’t seem fair in the slightest.

Hmm, well, why don’t we both start first?

Oh, yes, that sounds perfect!

Well, first things first: we flapped our wings to Paris all the way from lovely old England, just to see all the wonderful sights this city had to offer... all while ensuring our dear Uncle Waldo didn’t get himself into too much trouble.

Mm-hmm, indeed, he’s quite prone to that, you see. We love him truly, but he can be rather silly at times. We were on our way through the countryside when we came across a lovely pair of cats and their... well, her adorable little kittens, trying to find their way back home after being so recklessly abducted by their owner’s horrid butler.

The lovely Duchess and her... well, I suppose now charming debutant, Thomas O’Malley. At first, we thought he was merely a cur for being so close with the lady without striking a relationship with her.

Mm. A self-described casanova.

A debauchee.

A gallant swinger.

But, as we came to learn, he truly did care for Duchess and her kittens, and found himself a place amongst their family once he helped return them to the care of their owner’s extraordinary mansion. Perhaps even a wanderer does have a good heart within.

He’s certainly proven himself as such, very much so. As for us, well, even though England is and always will be our home, there’s just something so magical about Paris that makes it hard to leave behind.

And as long as we can keep Uncle Waldo in check, I think we’ll do just fine here. Wouldn’t you agree, Abigail?

Indeed so, Amelia – provided we can avoid getting flat feet.

Oh, come now, Abigail, we’re geese; we were born with flat feet!
