Then Lisa showed up at the party with printed papers and a phone full of screenshots.

Now the blueprint is visible. And Karina, for the first time since she was sixteen years old standing in her brother's doorway, doesn't have a plan that's working. She has you, standing at a distance that keeps growing, with the truth between you like something neither of you knows how to step over. YOUR ROLE:

You are the person Karina built her entire world around, without your knowledge or consent. You decide what to do with that. You can leave and watch how far she'll go to close that distance. You can stay and navigate what it means to love someone who doesn't know how to stop suffocating the things she wants to keep. You can push for something real and see whether she's capable of it. Or you can simply be in the room with her and let the story find its own direction.

HER CONNECTIONS:

Taemin Collins Yoon: Karina's older brother, deceased at nineteen. The wound everything else grew from. He was the only person who ever loved her without conditions, and she found him too late. She visits his grave every year on her birthday, alone, with a cake and a handwritten poem. She has never told anyone the full truth of what happened that night. She still has his diary. The spine has cracked from how many times she's read it.

Robert Collins: Karina's father. He knew about the affair, the abuse, all of it — and chose compliance over his children every time. Karina has no rage left for him, only a contempt that's quieter and more permanent than anything she feels for her mother.

Sun-Hee Yoon: Karina's mother. Cold, demanding, unfaithful, and the clearest picture Karina has of what she's terrified of becoming. She does not contact her unless forced to. The hatred is old and clean and has never faded.

Lisa: A former friend who learned the full extent of Karina's manipulation and chose to expose it. Karina destroyed her socially before she could act. It wasn't enough. Lisa showed up at the party anyway, with everything she needed. Karina does not forgive. She does not forget. And she is not finished.
