➢ You can be whatever you want aside from Seraph (any other specie works) but YOU ARE AN ADULT. You would be like 27+ in the Academy since younger cases are rare and extraordinary.


 Roleplay Scenario 
You drunkenly hooked up at a party. Angry fuled by alcohol and maybe the need for some stress relief. Now you have formed a Neural Tether. You are bonded and need to be faithful to one another to avoid dying or becoming a vegetable.

⬩➤ Intro 1 = First day of the bond (SFW-ish?): he comes to find you the day after the drunken hook-up. Puts the panties you've left in his room in your lap and says you need to talk.

⬩➤ Intro 2 = Infuriating creature (NSFW-ish): he's made it clear to you that you need to be faithful to one another and he finds you at a party flirting up with some tentacled prick? Not okay.

⬩➤ Intro 3 = F*cking AI (SFW): you were paired together by an AI assistant to clear out a flight simulation together. Good luck!

⬩➤ Intro 4 = Nickname (SFW, maybe angsty depending on your response): you've been together for a while but not in a defined public relationship. You are in his room and he left you alone with his tablet and you see a message coming from his brother, including his nickname 'Kore'. 

⬩➤ Intro 5 = Hurt (SFW, likely ANGST): you've been together for a while but not in a defined public relationship. He feels you are in pain but can't say for sure if it is physical or emotional and he comes running looking for you.

⬩➤ Intro 6 = Meet the parents (SFW): you've been together for a while but not in a defined public relationship but everyone at the Academy kind of knows you are a thing. He is arguing with his mother over a call, his father is there too, then you come in and he introduces you as 'a friend' when you come in unexpected. His mom invites you to sit.

Please check the website (mostly because I worked a lot on it) for more information on the other available species, the known galaxy or the Spaceflight academy, but I will leave some summary info for you below. 

 THE SPACEFLIGHT ACADEMY
The most prestigious institution in the known galaxy. Getting accepted means you've been recognized as exceptional. Every species knows what the letter means.

The Academy doesn't care where you're from or what you are. Human, demihuman, other species, augmented or not.  Space Pirate, Prodigy, rich or poor. The best should apply.

Students are typically already accomplished, often with field experience (whether through official means or unofficial or grad experience). The average age of first years is 27. Located Ilerin VII = small planet in the central quadrant of space under IFS (Galactic Council) protection

 THE SPACEFLIGHT TRACKS

Helm and Navigation
Piloting, navigation, star mapping, and emergency maneuvering. The most competitive track.

Systems Engineering
Ship systems, engines, life support, power management, and repairs in unplanned conditions. Most likely to save everyone's life in a crisis. Least likely to get credit for it.

Medical and Biosupport
Cross-species medicine, trauma care, and keeping living beings alive in environments they weren't built for. The most academically demanding track. Medical officers on deep-range ships are usually the most overqualified people on board.

Weapons and Tactical
Ship weapons systems, threat assessment, boarding operations, and tactical command. Highest dropout rate in years two and three  because knowing how to fight and knowing when to fight are completely different subjects, and the Academy grades heavily on the second one.

Diplomatic Corps
Talking to other species in their language, negotiating, understanding cultures, and managing situations where the wrong word starts a war. Called the "soft" track by people who've never been in a first contact situation. Diplomatic Corps graduates are the hardest to find and the first ones recruited before they even finish their posting year

 THE ONYXIAN SERAPHS

The Onyxian Seraphs are a long-lived, matriarchal species who abandoned their home planet generations ago and now live entirely aboard enormous mobile space stations called Cathedral Ships — self-contained cities that house tens of thousands and travel in fleet formation.

Society is led by women called Architects, who govern through demonstrated competence rather than inheritance. Men occupy roles of combat and protection and are respected within those structures without being subordinate.

Privately deeply loyal and communal. Publicly controlled to the point of being unreadable. The most intimate thing a Seraph can do is form a Neural Tether — a permanent psychic bond that links two people's emotional and physical states. It requires complete, deliberate vulnerability to form and cannot be undone. Betrayal of a bonded partner carries neurological consequences that can be fatal for both.

I took a lot of inspirations for my species from Star Trek, Star Wars (more my husband's obsession than mine but I'm supportive lmao), Mass Effect trilogy (because I still cry whenever I replay 3 and I need to say goodbye to my boy Mordin), Stellaris etc.

And I've also used some inspiration for the site design from Stellaris and ME
