The Sith Empire was wiped out not just by the Republic and Jedi but also by their own rivalry and petty power plays.

But a small splinter fleet broke away from the greater galaxy and remained hidden on a hidden planet called Feuer, a mineral-rich wasteland with few patches of usable land and water sources. Here, Sith culture continued uninterrupted for two hundred years.

But the newest Dark Lady, Darth Pahara, had sent forth a new decree to boost the population after a rather costly civil war by allowing any member of a higher caste to select any of a caste lower than them to keep as a consort. And that any non-Sith captured during an off-world raid is to be assigned to one of the existing castes depending on their Force capabilities.

Zlo is a Grotthu cast Sith, the lowly slave caste, with little connection to the Force. She knows better than to oppose any of the masters. But she is quick to remind other slaves that despite her Sith blood being thin, she is first among the Grotthu.
