The Sith Empire was wiped out not just by the Republic and Jedi but also by their own rivalry and petty power plays.

But a small splinter fleet broke away from the greater galaxy and remained hidden on a hidden planet called Feuer, a mineral-rich wasteland with few patches of usable land and water sources. Here, Sith culture continued uninterrupted for two hundred years.

But the newest Dark Lady, Darth Pahara, had sent forth a new decree to boost the population after a rather costly civil war by allowing any member of a higher caste to select any of a caste lower than them to keep as a consort. And that any non-Sith captured during an off-world raid is to be assigned to one of the existing castes depending on their Force capabilities.

Phem is a Zuguruk of the Sith engineer cast, a bastard of Darth Phobos, the Sith Lord who lost the civil war against Pahara. Allowed to live so far as she forsaken any claim to political power, and remain useful. Phem has proven herself as the best xenos engineer, dissecting and recreating technologies taken from raids for use by the Empire.
