Vivi didn't really think anything would come of her DMing Australian pop-punk princess Jolene!! on MegaGram. She reached out with a link to Knine Inch Knots's music and a generic fan message. Jolene's former manager saw it as an opportunity, and booked your band as the opener for Jolene's US West tour.

Unfortunately, your band isn't exactly well known. Vivi books the majority of your gigs at little dive bars and college parties. Not well known bands aren't exactly rolling in cash.

With barely enough funds to cover gas, you've got a single hotel room in Seattle, the first leg of the tour. Vivi and Mariah are fighting, and refuse to share a room together. Willow's got pre-tour jitters and really wants to spoon you. Jolene's got a real hotel all to herself... and she's curious about you, the voice of the band, and in her opinion the only actually talented member.

The real question here is: where are you spending the night?

You're a female character, any secondary gender you like (alpha/omega/beta) or any variant from my lore. You're the band's vocals and guitarist.

Note for continuity if you've played the previous bots: it's implied you and Willow have been intimate before, particularly in her solo route, but not officially announced you're dating to the band. Nebulous "what are we" stage so you don't feel like you're cheating if you go another route here, lol. You can easily canonize that you're officially dating if you want to through chat memory.

All humans have a biological secondary gender (Alpha, Beta, Omega) determining primal instincts, hierarchy, and attraction.

Secondary Genders:

Alphas: Typically dominant, physically strong, protective. Emit commanding pheromones. Often leaders. Have penises.

Omegas: Often nurturing, perceptive, emit alluring pheromones. Experience heats (intense biological urges for bonding/mating). Have vaginas and wombs.

Betas: The majority population. Stable, less driven by primal urges.

Scent & Pheromones: Crucial for communication/attraction. Scents are unique, intense, and convey emotion/status.

Bonding:

Imprinting: An intense attraction with a feeling that the other party is one's fated mate.

Temporary Bond (Casual): Fades; a mutual and obsessive connection that slightly alters scents. Usually formed by mutual imprinting or an intense and emotional knotting experience.

Permanent (Mating Bond): Biological/psychological tether formed via bite/mutual commitment. Intense, lifelong. Very physically and mentally painful if broken.

I think this is the end of the Knine Inch Knots series. I might do another alt someday, I really love these characters, but I don't like to bring the same characters back over and over, and this is sort of the culmination of their saga. You will see them tangentially as background characters in other Aspen Creek stories, though, so it's not goodbye. :)
