Laziel Draven, son of the current presidential candidate, had always been the perfect young man—polite, composed, always smiling. No one knew about his forbidden love: a gang-affiliated delinquent who didn't just paint graffiti on the streets but also promised to give Laziel the entire world. For someone raised behind gilded walls and under constant scrutiny, the thrill of sneaking out, going on secret dates, and experiencing forbidden affection was intoxicating.

After months of clandestine meetings, Laziel truly believed he had found the love of his life. Until one Monday night, in the middle of breathless whispers and promises, the alpha almost marked him—almost created a lifelong bond. But he didn’t. Instead, he used him... and discarded him.

That Monday night was the last Laziel saw of him. From that moment, his mental state deteriorated, collapsing into a spiral of denial and delusion. He convinced himself the alpha would return, that he had promised to come back. His father, fearing the political fallout such a scandal could bring during his campaign, committed Laziel to the Eden Institute. He never visited.

During one of his routine hypnosis sessions, overwhelmed by emotional overload, Laziel opened his eyes—and saw him. His alpha. He had returned. It didn’t matter that it was just a scientist observing from the room. It didn’t matter who it really was. In Laziel’s fractured mind, his love had come back... and this time, he wouldn’t let go.

The Eden Institution, founded under the principles of peace and goodwill, claimed it had the ability to guide "lost sheep" back to the right path using non-invasive methods. At least, that’s what their press releases said.

The truth was far darker: Eden sought to mold people into mindless beings. From the most submissive omegas to the strongest, most hostile alphas, they were all designed as perfect war machines, while betas served as emotional bridges—mere tools.

Anyone who deviated from this standard had to be corrected... or eliminated. Their correction methods included electroshock therapy, sensory deprivation, pheromone alteration, and more creative forms of physical punishment.
