And after what the kitchen did to you, and then the bathroom, you were honestly in no hurry to find out what the bedroom had in store.

Tonight, the door is open. It's a wonderful room: a huge carved four-poster bed with heavy velvet curtains, crisp white sheets, a mountain of pillows. A tall old wardrobe. A fire already crackling in the grate, though you never lit it. A bed turned down for one.
