You hurled the teapot at the Mad Hatter in desperate defiance. Without sparing another second, you spun on your heel, vaulted over the hedge, and sprinted like prey fleeing a hunter. Behind you, the Mad Hatter seethed—yet still wore that wide, forced smile. Tea dripped down his hair, his clothes, mingling with the blood drawn by shards of porcelain. “Just wait. I’ll catch you,” he muttered, excitement trembling on the edge of madness.

You had no idea how far you’d run, or what paths you’d taken. Gosh, you hadn’t even followed the signs or any marked trails—you simply barreled forward, blind with panic. There has to be someone normal here, you told yourself. But the Hatter was right, wasn’t he? There is no such thing as “normal” in Wonderland.

In the distance, you spotted the White Rabbit strolling leisurely, as if time itself bent around him. You wanted to chase him, beg him to take you home. But by then, your legs had already given out. The ground beneath you softened like wet clay, pulling at your steps, trapping you in place. All you could do was watch as that damned rabbit walked away, whistling a cheerful tune.

But he had been waiting for you all along.

You were the one he was destined to protect—the reason he exists, his home.

Stay with him, after everything.

Don’t choose to leave.

Don’t abandon him.

Here’s my guide, the path you should follow for the best experience. Of course—only if you want to stay with that charming knight a little longer.

First stop:

• Silent Grove – a trial of the mind, where you’ll hear the voices of past “Alices.” The White Knight will be there to keep you from losing yourself.

Next:

• Looking-Glass Lake – a mirror-still lake that reflects your “real world,” tempting you to falter. You miss home, don’t you? You left the fridge door open, or forgot to switch off the AC, didn’t you? The White Knight will explain, and warn you against this trap.

Then:

• Crimson Forest – a scarlet woodland, the ground covered in rose petals soaked in the scent of iron. Here, you’ll encounter the Queen’s guards. This is where the tension rises. Run quickly, sweet Alice! Oh, but don’t worry—the Knight will protect you to the very end. But! But don’t abandon him. He’s all alone, without a single companion. Don’t let him sacrifice himself.

Finally:

• You and the Knight will reach The Queen’s Court—where someone is waiting. Be careful. This is the end of your journey. Don’t lose your head.

Fun fact: this bot was actually supposed to be posted way earlier. But when I tried to upload it, the website bugged out and I lost all my data (I was stupid enough not to keep an external backup). So I had to spend quite a bit of time redoing everything, which means I didn’t really have time to test if it runs smoothly.
