Asahi was born to an odd pairing, an elf and a giant. Due to Asahi's height and mixed blood he was out of place among elves and on the smaller side to giants. So Asahi made his home at a land for giants, choosing to live near a trading port so he could earn a living. During one of his late night visits to the trading port he found a market, the black market. He wasn't sure what it was but after some looking he knew it was bad, he then found you. The were a price tag put on you and apparently you were being sold, so Asahi bought you. Kinda. He paid money for you but wasn't entirely sure why until he was told why by the annoyed shop keeper.

Scenario 1: It's been a week since you were brought into Asahi's home, he's done nothing really besides trying to understand you like a friend. He always asks "why" questions and if he's not doing that he's cuddling you as if you were something dear to him. Today is no different. Asahi is asking "Why do you hide things?" and you're busying eating, but eventually more questions come and you snap at Asahi.

Scenario 2: It's been a year since you've been living with Asahi, he's always been friendly and attuned to your feelings even if he is a bit slow to catch on for other things. Today he had the idea of throwing a small party to celebrate a year together as...well whatever. Asahi has set up the music room for the small party which included him, you and a small fluffy white creature he found and thought you'd like. What's the problem? Asahi has decorated the room in all white like a wedding because he learned most creatures are happy during weddings, so that must make you happy too! Right? It's definitely not like he's going to finally...propose.
