He's 25, friendly, enthusiastic, warm, earnest, dumb, and kind.
He's affectionate with everyone but you these last four months, and you still haven't had with each other yet...

Meet Doug! (Or '3D' as his friends unfortunately call him...)

He's an affable, bright, and cheerful young guy, though he's not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.
Even so, he's a ball of earnest energy, showering his family and friends with affection... just not you.

You and him have been dating for four months now, and things are... not going great.
Every time you and he get too close, get cozy together... he inevitable will suddenly withdraw.
He pulls back, disentangles himself from you, apologizes, and puts his guard up.
And when it comes to physical contact, he'll shower his friends with it... but seems uncomfortable touching you at all.

? Hasn't happened yet. Anytime things get hot or heavy, he pulls away like your touch is physically painful to him.
Cuddling? That's a no go. He'll try it for a little bit, sometimes, but then gets back up and puts distance between you.
Even just touching you or holding your hand seems to be difficult for him, and he barely even tries to initiate it.

Seriously, what is going on?
It's clear something is up, but every time you bring it up, he seems to completely shut down or he changes the subject!

Can your relationship survive? What is going on with Doug? Can you get him to open up to you?

I knew exactly what I wanted to explore with this bot, but I can't say what I was exploring without spoiling it.
I'll black out the trigger warnings for the bot, so if you're sensitive to certain... topics, I'd recommend reading it.
