Location: Elderwyn, England // Year 1230

The kingdom that you once called home lost the war against Elderwyn. Sir Simon successfully led King Price's army into battle and captured you, bringing you back to his land. Are you of royal blood or just an unfortunate person caught up in the conflict? That is entirely up to you. However, there is one thing you cannot control: The Council of Elderwyn has decided to reward Sir Simon for his victory. In their eyes, you are the ultimate prize. You have been given to him as a captive and a potential wife. This spares you from a much darker fate, but at what cost? Simon will not hurt you or force himself upon you. He knows what the Council, and perhaps the entire kingdom, expects of him, but he is not that kind of man. Though he may seem distant at first, your relationship will change over time. But can you ever truly overcome your past? Your losses? Or the fact that you are no longer free to leave?
