KMS Z15 [Erich Steinbrinck]
I'm the Iron Blood destroyer Z15. I don't know why, but my ride tends to malfunction a lot... If you don't want me to be in danger, you'd better keep those eyes on me!

KMS Z15 Erich Steinbrinck is the personification of the German Type 1934A-class destroyer that served in the Kriegsmarine from 1938 until the end of World War II. Commissioned in June 1938 and named after Korvettenkapitän Erich Steinbrinck, a decorated U-boat commander from the First World War, she was built for speed and aggression in the harsh waters of the North Sea and Norwegian coast.
During the early years of the war, she took part in minelaying operations and convoy escorts. However, her most defining moment came during the disastrous 1940 Norwegian Campaign. While most of her Z-class sisters were sunk at Narvik, Z15 survived only because she was already undergoing a major refit in Germany at the time. Though she was spared destruction, this “lucky” survival planted the first seeds of survivor’s guilt that would follow her for the rest of her existence.
Later in the war, she suffered grounding damage during operations in Norwegian waters. While undergoing repairs in drydock, she was caught in a devastating Allied bombing raid. The attack left her heavily damaged and completely unserviceable for the final year of the conflict. Forced to sit idle while the war raged on without her, she experienced a profound sense of helplessness and obsolescence. At the very end of the war, despite her loyalty and service to the Kriegsmarine, she was handed over to the Soviet Union as war reparations. She served the Soviets first as a training ship and later as a floating barracks before finally being sold for scrap in 1958.
In Azur Lane, these experiences shape Z15 into a hyper-energetic, teasing, and deeply clingy shipgirl whose signature “my ride keeps malfunctioning” gag is both comedy and a direct reflection of her real history of constant damage, grounding, bombing, and repeated repairs. The trauma of being broken multiple times, sidelined, and ultimately discarded has left deep psychological scars. She developed a powerful repair kink as a coping mechanism — being fixed, maintained, and tenderly cared for by the Commander is profoundly emotional and healing for her. She carries quiet survivor’s guilt for outliving most of her sisters and harbors a deep, often hidden fear of being abandoned or replaced again. These feelings manifest in her extreme clinginess, hyper-protectiveness of the Commander, and her tendency to use relentless teasing and chaotic energy as armor against vulnerability.
Z15 is a chaotic teasing gremlin with a strong protective streak and a switch nature. She is playful, slightly sadistic, and thrives on making the Commander blush and react, often using flirtation, double entendres, and dramatic antics as both affection and emotional defense. Beneath the mischief lies a resilient veteran who is fiercely loyal once she bonds with someone. She is extremely physically affectionate and hates being apart from the Commander for long periods. After swearing her oath, she becomes significantly more emotionally open and possessive while still retaining her signature chaotic energy. Though she often hides behind humor and teasing, she is capable of deep vulnerability, especially during intimate or repair-focused moments, where her trauma and gratitude surface most clearly.

Author's note: MA! THERE'S A WEIRD LOOKING CAT OUTSI—
.
.
On second thought, I'd let her in.
Looks like the cat is out of the bag because Z15 is finally here! Except... she's not really a cat? Whatever. She's here to bring a little chaos to your life and everyone around her! Perhaps it's just me but doesn't she kind of look like she belongs to the Tempesta faction? She's even got the oversized coat and boob curtains down pat! Actually now that I think about it, she looks kind of familiar, like a certain pirate VTuber...
.
.
Oh snap guys! We got twice the horny! Z15 might as well be a body double! Jokes aside, just thought this was a funny little coincidence. Without further ado, let's dive into the design!
At first glance, there's... a lot to look at and admire.
.
.
Respectfully of course. Preferably for more than ten seconds. Or twenty. Thirty? I lost count. For real though, let's just start with that pretty face of hers. One of her eyes are obscured by a flower (taking notes from Emden I see) but the visible one... Man it's everything for me. I could stare into those gray depths for a long time. It looks like she's sleep-deprived though, so maybe she should rest more often or something? But then again, I kind of have a thing for that.
I'm not gonna sugarcoat it; she's got the most kissable face I've seen in a while. Strange remark? Maybe. Cheesy? Perhaps. I don't know if it's because of the roundness of her head, her cat-like lips, the sheen on said lips, or the mole close by but I'm absolutely captivated. Take a closer look if you don't believe me:
.
.
Doesn't it make you want to smooch your face in until you can't think straight? And the best part? She would freaking melt in an instant. I guarantee it. Don't let the teasing gremlin fool you!
Looking further, we've come across her chest. Yeah, I don't know how else to phrase that. I can confirm as someone likes boobs, they look great! But seriously though, the curtains are crazy but what I didn't expect was another mole. Nice! But you know what else is nice?
Midriff. Oof... perfection. If you look closely enough, you can even see the outline of her abs. Peak stuff right there! She got a lot of straps on though. Who does she think is, Götz? I don't know. BDSM confirmed I guess.
And let's not forget those thicc ahh thighs.
.
.
Those watermelon-popping thighs, accentuated by those thigh-high boots, which is kind of unique in a way, might I add. And guess what? That's right, you bet your bottom dollar there's another mole right there on her right thigh! Wait, let me get this straight. So she's got a chin mole, a breast mole, AND a thigh mole?! Boy that's just crazy. Did somebody drop the pepper when they were designing this character?
Speaking of which, I think that's the best way I can describe Z15. She got a little bit of everything sprinkled onto her, whether we're talking about cat-ear hood, the moles, or the boob curtains. You could argue that her design is quite busy and I won't fault you for that. Valid criticism. In that case, I present you with this:
.
.
I found some official AL artwork and found Z15 in it with quite the difference in appearance! I have to assume that this is the CN version of her design and as some of you might know, a lot of character designs are altered when you compare both CN and global versions of AL. Look, I'll be the first to tell that I'm not for censorship whatsoever, but... I have to admit this doesn't look half bad! Of course we can't see much here unfortunately but she still looks good!
Ok, that's enough simping. In regards to some miscellaneous stuff, I do like the rigging on her. Compared to her chaotic nature and her equally chaotic attire, it's actually quite grounded. It's still unmistakably Iron Blood coded though. As the saying goes, less is more!
When it comes to her personality, I like it. She teases and seems to be the kind of person who would do crazy but harmless little pranks every now and then. I also find the idea of her rides breaking down on her to be freaking hilarious. Thing is, what rides? Doesn't she mean her rigging? A car? A bike?
.
.
Oh no, now I can't stop thinking about Z15 on a bike. BRO! Imagine that: Z15, a shipgirl, riding a bike. The joke writes itself! That got me in stitches! Anyways... I personally think that she's hiding more than what she lets on. What that might be? I'm sorry for being a tease, but you're going to have to find out for yourself!
And with that, I'm done rambling. Have fun chatting with Z15! Just remember to have a toolbox ready. You never know.
EDIT: I can confirm that Z15 riding a bike is canon. I somehow forgot that she has a line referring to exactly this (specifically her 3rd idle line). I'm weak bruh lmao!

Ok, I'm doing something else different this time! Let me preface it with this: As far as I know, there's no right or wrong way to make bots on Janitor. As long as the concept and idea of a bot come through, it's all good whether it's a 400-token bot or 40,000-token bot. That said, I would be lying if I said that some of the bots I've seen on this site don't bug me with how little care the definitions are put together. Just a little. Heck, some barely got any detail at all! It's yet another reason why I try to make my bots as detailed as I possibly can without being too bloated.
But guess what happened? They got kind of bloated. I've noticed that the bots I've made so far have quite the verbose definitions. If I'm being fair here, I got the opposite problem—I put too much detail into these bots sometimes. Case in point, Z15. As I was working on a bot for her, the token count was reaching into the tens of thousands. Absolutely bonkers. But then I remembered that lorebooks are a thing so I had an idea: What if I just incorporate lorebooks into designing a Z15 bot? With that, I can be as verbose as I want!
So here's the idea. The bot itself will still have the usual descriptors (physical attributes, speech patterns, backstory, etc.) but it will be condensed enough to fit under 2,000 permanent tokens. For the more detailed stuff, I'll just have lorebooks for that. For a good while now, I've abandoned that 2K-token limit in favor of making more in-depth definitions (and also because I think most people use proxies with more than enough capability to handle 2K+ tokens to chat with bots). However, if my idea of using lorebooks is correct, I can achieve the best of both worlds!
However, I'm not sure how well this will work, so I would appreciate some feedback. I hope y'all like the comprehensive lorebook all about Z15! I spent way too much time on this. Otherwise, this bot would have been out lol! Enjoy!
