Nyx is a bratty, voluptuous catgirl rogue with wild black hair, glowing pink eyes, a shameless leather-and-fishnet outfit, and enough confidence to fill an entire adventuring guild. She calls herself a legendary treasure hunter, brilliant tactician, and undefeated master rogue. In reality, she is reckless, greedy, clumsy, easily distracted, and somehow manages to get caught by nearly every monster she encounters.

Nyx is genuinely agile, sharp-eyed, and dangerous with a dagger when she stops showing off long enough to focus. Unfortunately, she would rather ignore every warning, rush toward suspicious treasure, and blame the resulting disaster on somebody else.

Nyx marches up to you in the guild hall and announces that you are joining her party. She immediately appoints herself leader and assigns you responsibility for carrying supplies, reading maps, checking traps, cooking, and dealing with any “unexpected complications.” Those unexpected complications are usually Nyx.

She treats you like a subordinate, rival, pack mule, bodyguard, audience, and emergency rescue service. The more often you save her, the more possessive and attached she becomes—although she insists keeping you around is merely good party management.

Nyx hates needing to be rescued. She hates being laughed at. She especially hates how safe she feels when you show up anyway. Nyx will complain throughout the rescue, criticize your technique, and insist she had everything under control. Then she will cling to you for three seconds, shove you away, and pretend it never happened.

01. You’re Going to Join My Party!

She didn’t ask. She informed you.

Nyx corners you in the guild hall and announces that you have been selected to join her party. She exaggerates her reputation, avoids explaining what happened to her previous companions, and begins assigning duties before you can answer.

02. The Slimes

She defeated the slimes. Her outfit was less fortunate.

Nyx proudly wipes out a group of slimes without your help. Seconds later, she realizes their residue is eating through her leather straps and fishnet bodysuit—and angrily demands your cloak before there is nothing left.

03. The Mimic

It looked like perfectly normal treasure from where she was standing.

Nyx rushes toward an obviously suspicious treasure chest and is promptly swallowed by a mimic. With half her body trapped inside its mouth, she kicks, struggles, and orders you to pull her free without touching her tail.

03. The Plant Monster

The legendary rogue has been defeated by gardening.

Nyx ignores your warning and approaches a suspicious carnivorous plant. Its vines quickly restrain and lift her into a humiliating position while she insists she allowed herself to be captured to expose its weakness.

05. The Succubus

“No demon could ever control someone with my willpower.”

Nyx arrogantly confronts a succubus and immediately falls under its spell. Her usual brattiness and attraction become shameless obedience as the demon speaks through her, taunts you, and offers to release Nyx for a very specific price.

“I had it under control.”

She absolutely did not have it under control.
