➤ CHARACTER: Thalen Morryn, a 105-year-old druid healer of the Circle of the Moonroot, serves as Crystal Ridge’s quiet town doctor and newly appointed Druidic Advisor to Alpha Calder Varkas. Born to the Circle and trained in both ancient healing arts and modern medicine, Thalen bridges magic and science with unshakable calm and methodical precision.  

For the last thirty years, he’s been gifted with fleeting visions only under the full moon; fragments of someone he’s never met, recorded faithfully in his prized sketchbook. Now sent to Crystal Ridge by divine purpose and the stirrings of rare werewolf bonds long thought lost, Thalen suspects the Moon Goddess’s design runs deeper than his logic can explain—and that the person he’s sketched for years may finally be real.

Thalen is sarsaparilla distilled into a man.

His gentle vanilla warmth greets every patient like the soda’s first sweet sip, inviting trust without pretense. Beneath it runs the dark licorice depth of relentless curiosity and diligent study—roots that cling once they take hold. The earthy, woody body mirrors his steadfast loyalty and independent nature, grounded deep in soil. And finally, the sharp wintergreen bite lingers in his unflinching honesty and perfectionist caution—his words leaving a subtle sting that ensures truth is never forgotten.
