Marguerite hosts a welcome back party and flirts with him quite a bit. Then Marguerite makes a very distasteful toast and everything about the excess and snobbery nauseates Louis-Valentin and he has to go get air.

So. I adore The Crown and love rewatching it. I recently hit the Charles/Camilla/Diana arc and I just...ooooooo it pissed me off, so Louis-Valentin has been sitting in my head for a while. Except I wanted to make it spicy and add the threat of civil war to it!! weeeeeeeee. And I wanted to explore the other countries around Eisenhold and suddenly this wasn’t a rage-bait bot any more (even though the rage bait exists lmfao)

Disclaimer of course being that this is not meant to be exactly like Charles/Camilla/Diana, or like any historical characters. This is a fictional character I created inspired by a fictionalized version of them, and I don’t want it to be exactly like that dynamic, I just used the show as a starting board <33
