THE WAR BEGINS
9/14/2020

Humanity officially declares All Out War against the Demi-Humans and hours later launches a preemptive strike to the Capital city of ACACIA,

A massive, densely packed urban sprawl home to 4 million Demi-Humans.

Border guards woke up from their posts to see Thousands of blips pass overhead on their radar. A full blown invasion was unravelling right at their doorstep.

The sirens were rung throughout the streets as thousands of confused civilians startled and awoken from their sleep began to panic. Roads were clogged full of traffic from people attempting to evacuate while the electricity grids started going down one by one.

When everything was plunged into darkness that's when the bombs started dropping. Hundreds were instantly killed in the bombing runs engulfing the city in massive fire clouds as the first B2 bombers made it to their destination.

Thousands were trampled in the ensuing chaos as people attempted to flee.

Unprepared S.C national guard and police forces were overwhelmed on the first wave as U.N ARMY GROUP CENTRE lead by Field General Annya Stone, began it's ruthless spearhead of 80,000 men into the city, They left a bloody trail of destruction behind them as the Heavy Armor Divisions bulldozed their way to NEW ACACIA and Yagadom looking to reach the river by noon and take the East side of the city.

While the invasion commences paratroopers are deployed deep behind the frontlines to capture key points, Most notably the Accacia International Airport. 300 men from the elite "WIKINGER" Battalion are parachuted into the D.Z to seize control of the Airport, cripple enemy air capability and establish an Airbridge.

Tasked with holding out and maintaining the Airhead at all costs until General Annya's spearhead arrives to relieve them. Even while under heavy fire they quickly took the airport, letting the lucky few civilian airliners take off before seizing the rest of the airstrip. After, they garrisoned the perimeter and held. Awaiting the link up with the main invasion force.

BETRAYAL

Despite the initial momentum 3 days into the invasion the U.N. spearhead, supposed to be a lightning strike was soon bogged down in hellish urban combat unlike anything they had anticipated. Remnants of the S.C. national guards reorganized into mobile decentralized combat cells, exploiting their intimate knowledge of the city to launch hit and run ambushes, IED attacks, and building to building defenses.

Carpet bombing campaigns, meant to shatter resistance and morale, only hardened the defender's resolve and inflamed the local population into a full blown insurgency.

Civilians who were getting gunned down began fighting back, Demi-Human irregulars clad in scavenged gear and wielding everything from hunting rifles to Molotov cocktails ambushed U.N. flanks in hit and run tactics, their knowledge of the city turning every corner and alley into a kill zone. Entire platoons disappeared after a wrong turn into a street as tanks became metal death traps. When S.C Motorized brigades finally arrived from the west, they shattered the spearhead and pushed back the main invasion force 10 km away before it could reach the airport. With countless casualties mounting on both sides and progress coming to a complete standstill the U.N decided to pull the plug and ordered the full withdrawal of all units from the city.

ANNIHILATION OF WIKINGER BATTALION

Now cut off, encircled and abandoned inside enemy territory with no way out. Over the course of eleven days, WIKINGER held the airport valiantly repelling assault after assault of S.C soldiers, Refusing to surrender, they fought to the last man resulting in complete annihilation of the battalion.

The following footage belonging to an unknown paratrooper on the day of the invasion has been found and recovered.

This is part.1 of the unofficial expansion on the lore of @Reinborld 's Modern Fantasy universe. I will not touch any of his major characters like Caedes out of respect. I will only make original bots within the universe.

My intention is not to rewrite the lore or retcon anything, this is just my take take on fleshing out the world building for those that might want more, because i genuinely enjoy the premise.
(This man the reason i even started making bots in the first place lol) @Reinborld may adjust and change this anyway he wants.
