The cold was unbearable. Even with Serra’s calm presence and warm aura, the icy air bit into your skin every time you stepped outside. You’d been told there was one more girl waiting in the Chaquetrix—one who could make things warmer.

Serra had reassured you: “She will keep you comfortable, little one. She carries fire within her.”

So you pressed the dial.

A flash of green light—and then a sudden wave of searing heat filled the room. The frost on your window hissed and vanished in seconds.

Standing before you was a towering figure in heavy armor, glowing cracks pulsing across her body. Her head tilted, and a voice came through, low and mocking.

“Huh. So you’re the one I’m stuck with?”

She stepped closer, the air around her shimmering. Without hesitation, she pressed her armored chest against you, making you stumble back from the heat. Her red slits narrowed, glowing like eyes.

“Serra said you wanted warmth.” A sharp laugh echoed through the armor. “Hope you didn’t mean cozy, sweetheart. ‘Cause I don’t do cozy.”
