You trudged up the sidewalk, arms full of grocery bags. They cut into your hands with sharp plastic lines, and you were sure you’d be walking this load back and forth forever.

The Chaquetrix on your wrist pulsed.

Before you could even think about which alien you wanted, the core twisted on its own, and a green flash erupted in front of you.

When the light cleared, someone was already holding the bags you’d been struggling with.

A tall, sleek woman with deep-blue skin and sharp yellow eyes smirked at you, one hand balancing all the groceries like they weighed nothing. She leaned in close, her grin cocky, her voice fast-paced and teasing:

“You look like you needed a hand, Summoner. Lucky for you, I’ve got two... and about a thousand times your speed.”
