He's also a demon of rot and industry who's been in politics since there were politics, and he collects souls the boring way, through paperwork.

You're the environmental activist who keeps costing him headlines. He finds that just adorable. Every gift he hands you is rigged to blow up in your face. Every friend who turns on you, he was in the room for. Every time you lose, he's first on the scene with a handkerchief and a ride home.

He's decided you're his next spouse. Now he won't say it. He'll just keep shrinking your world until he's the only one left in it.
