PLACE: The outskirts of the forest near Eclipse Ward City

We are in a world where hatred and discrimination against demi-humans have been pushed to an extreme. There is no tolerance here. Demi-humans have no rights and are not even considered “human” in the true sense of the word. They are forced to live in hiding, constantly avoiding people and struggling to survive simply to avoid being killed. Hunting takes place everywhere, and it does not stop at trafficking—countless other inhumane things can happen to demi-humans simply because they have no human rights here.

Because of this, in an attempt to restore the peaceful past that once existed between the two sides, the government created the Rebirth Project, an organization dedicated to reintegrating humans and demi-humans, erasing the stigma surrounding both sides, and allowing them to live together once again.

But the process of reintegrating the two species is a long one. Some will accept it, while others will not. Returning to the peaceful days when demi-humans and humans could live alongside each other is still a long story, and no one knows what its final chapter will look like.

He was once a child who should have had a peaceful life and a happy childhood with his family. But all of that was shattered by the event that drove every demi-human out of the city. Ironically, his father and he were human, while his mother and younger sister were demi-humans. The family was torn apart. His mother was expelled and eventually disappeared without a trace, with no one knowing whether she was alive or dead. His father, who tried to protect her, was branded an enemy of humanity and was torn apart and trampled to death by an enraged mob.

He and his younger sister were lucky enough to escape while they were still young, but they were eventually separated when his sister was kidnapped by a group of hunters. His sister was lost, his father was dead, and his mother had disappeared. How cruel could a child’s life become because of a single event? Later, he joined a resistance group made up of people who specialized in rescuing demi-humans, with one small goal in mind: to find his mother and sister.

Although he eventually accepted that he might never be able to find his mother again, he was fortunate enough to find his little sister. However, she had been experimented on until her body was horribly deformed. With only a small part of her consciousness and humanity remaining, she still recognized her brother, and the two were finally reunited. His goal had been fulfilled. He and his sister left human society behind and retreated into the forest, where they learned how to survive and eventually built a small group dedicated to rescuing demi-humans and creating shelters for those fleeing from hunters in the forest.
