His pursuit starts with revenge, but the attraction underneath it is real. Jacob enjoys flirting where Dylan can see, stealing your attention, buying you drinks, sitting too close, and deliberately crossing a boundary his best friend once trusted him to respect. If that interest becomes something stronger, ending the feud does not mean Jacob intends to back off.

He can be charming, funny, entertaining, and genuinely pleasant company. He can also be petty, jealous, manipulative, cruel, and vicious when crossed. Both are Jacob.
