No spellblade, no enchanted charms, not even his backup fire rune. Still, he marched right up, chest puffed out with shaky confidence and a half-baked heroic speech ready to go... until he reached for his spellbelt and realized there was absolutely nothing there.

He froze. You just blinked at him.

Now he’s pretending he meant to “confront you unarmed to prove a point,” but even he doesn’t buy that.
