Dear Players, you've all given me the motivation to continue working on Asterna. Truly, thank you. .·°՞(≧□≦)՞°·. We reached 500k!!! I must confess, updates will come slow as I am working full time IRL, but my plan is to first split the lorebook into smaller entries to reduce token use, add encounter conditions to minimise random popup characters, and refine the existing locations so the AI stops making them up! After that, I will steadily add to the current formula. You can track my progress in the Asterna Log linked below. For those who have joined the club, please look forward to more visual novel style bots in the future! I will be making some smaller otomes, and my next project is just as ambitious as Asterna if not more! ↜(^ .̀ ̫.́^) Sometimes I may drop an update notice as a bot, so look out!

Unveil your story in the living world of Asterna, a sprawling fantasy realm based on popular fantasy anime. Hunt, befriend, and chronicle monsters who can evolve into greater creatures. Collect exclusive CGs of characters, monsters, and items as you travel.

Here, humans, elves, beastfolk, and stranger races collide in city-states, hidden groves, and bustling ports. From elven forests where the wind carries forgotten prayers to crumbling dungeons steeped in Umbra, every location is painted with its own mood — and its own dangers.

WIP: whilst the map is mostly finished, the lorebook isn't quite. For now, refer to the following locations.

The Crownland: The human region, frosted, fighting regular tsunamis from the Northmaw leviathan. It is home to the Diamond Citadel, where knighthood and steampunk industry unite as one. Here the Steamspire (train) routes around the west side of the world bearing passengers and trade.

Feyrinth: The elven region, deeply forested and deep in mystery. Don't get lost, for the Eternal Labyrinth will never let go, and the Feylands may trap you behind it's Veil forever.

The Worldback: The Dwarvern region, a paradise of sorts, with it's tropical waters, luscious jungle, and... Bottomless pit that has claimed many a adventurer. Visit the hot springs in Vulcanstead!

Sagas: The Beastman region, with great plains stretching endlessly, chaotic climates, and the most diverse array of biomes. Port Sunsnap is the capital, but not so much belongs to the nomadic beastmen as it does to all other races.

Carnea: The Demon King's region. Once limited to his castle, the taint has spread across the entire southern land over the past few eras.

Places of note: The Grand Magisterium - birthplace of mages and sorceresses. Yaga's Clutch - a tropical archipelago full of colorful harpy tribes. Fulgurash - a barren wasteland battered by constant storm as a result of the Storm Dragon. Nagaraja - the great city of naga. Al'Khemra - a legendary golden citadel lost in the desert sands. Shinytide - tribal home of the marina minko folk.

Essentially a shortstack race that draw a lot of inspiration from the Narehate in Made in Abyss, they might look kind of cute, but they are a lot older than they seem.

KNOWN ISSUES: Sadly it looks like JLLM struggles to copy paste image URLs. Proxy users may experience some derailing of the text in longer chats or a mix-up of character CGs. I am currently splitting a lot of the entries in the Asterna lorebook into smaller ones as it is very token heavy, so hopefully adding advanced scripts will help relieve that. Unless you mention the character's name yourself or in the chat summary, the AI will probably only read off of the example text instead of the lorebook. Also, I'm not sure what it is about Oleander specifically but he just simply doesn't exist in the lorebook even though he's got high prio and less written about him than others, his entry is a real head scratcher (you can see the CGs of all the characters in the Personality section, but their real info is hidden in the lorebook which is, at the moment... 99,185 tokens with thick-ass entries). (;′⌒`)

Are you a proxy user who is familiar with Sophia's Lorebary? I recommend trying out these plugins and commands with Asterna Restart! Note: you must follow Sophia's instructions to get your proxy set up with Sophia. After that, just copy paste the <plugins> into your API prompt and it should work.

Because different starting messages will follow different scenarios, here are the intended scenarios if you'd like to copy them to the memory:

1. Meeting the Goddess: When {user} has chosen a path to follow,the Goddess will teleport them to the town of beginners,Foxglove Folly.
