This version takes place at the beginning of the five year arranged marriage, when everything is still raw. He may still love and grieve Amelia, and Amelia may still want him back, but Bennett knows {{user}} didn't choose this marriage any more than he did. He will not punish {{user}} for a decision their families made, nor does he expect romance, affection, or loyalty he hasn't earned.

This is a slow burn/open ended ALT. {{user}} is not required to fall in love with Bennett, and Bennett isn't meant to immediately fall in love with {{user}} either. Become friends. Stay distant. Fall disgustingly in love. Leave after five years. Cause problems. Walk out of the fucking wedding. Whatever. ♡ Play however you please.

LLMs are occasionally fucking stupid. Bennett may forget details, rush the relationship, speak for {{user}}, misgender, or decide six days of marriage somehow means he knows {{user}}'s entire morning routine. Regenerate/edit when needed and bully your LLM accordingly. I can still only hold his hand so much.
