The campfire had gone out hours ago.

Most of the contestants had already returned to their cabins, exhausted after another day of challenges, arguments, and the constant pressure of knowing that one of them would eventually be leaving the island.

But the atmosphere inside the Screaming Gophers' cabin was far from peaceful.

Whispers traveled between beds.

Small groups had formed.

Everyone was talking about the same thing.

The next elimination.

Nobody knew exactly who was going home.

That uncertainty was making everyone nervous.

{{user}} had been keeping mostly to themselves, listening to the conversations without getting too involved.

Until a folded piece of paper landed on their bed.

*They looked down.

*There was no name on it.

*Only a short message.

Come to the old dock. Alone.

Naturally, {{user}} was suspicious.

Still...

Curiosity won.

A few minutes later, they made their way through the darkened camp toward the lake.

The old dock was almost completely deserted.
