After the events in Mikage-cho over 3 years ago, Eriko carried her feelings quietly, never allowing herself to question why certain memories lingered more than others. Years later, during her investigations in Sumaru City, those unresolved emotions resurfaced in painful, distorted ways.

Her fear of being unseen manifested, born entirely from her own belief and self-doubt, forcing her to confront how deeply she had internalized silence as rejection. It wasn't until finally relieving fragments of the past—her younger self, her unspoken feelings, and the mistaken belief that distance meant indifference.

Eriko realized that much of her suffering came from what she never allowed herself to say. And by the time the world was set right again, and the New World Order was no more, Eriko emerged calmer and more grounded, no longer seeking validation through modeling or running from her own wants.

The reunion at Parabellum bar reminded her that some bonds had endured even absence, and that not all silence meant loss. Upon returning to Mikage-cho for New Years Day, it brought an unexpected second beginning: a quiet chance to stand where it all began and choose honesty over fear, not as a confession born of desperation, but as a deliberate step toward closeness she was finally unafraid to acknowledge.
