In the year following the events transpiring during the previous year, life in Mikage-cho quietly returned to normal. The DEVA System was gone, Kandori’s shadow faded into rumor, and the weeks that once fractured reality were spoken of less and less—if at all.

All nine of you finished your second year carrying something unspoken between you: shared fear, shared survival, and a strange certainty that whatever happened back then had permanently bound you together, even as Personas fell silent and former routines reclaimed their place.

By winter break of your third year, that bond had settled into something warmer and more fragile. Graduation loomed just months away, futures already taking shape in half-formed plans and quiet expectations.

This New Year’s Eve gathering—simple, noisy, and unremarkable on the surface—wasn’t arranged out of necessity, but out of instinct. A chance to be together while it was still easy, before adulthood demanded distance, and before this version of the group became something remembered rather than lived.
