THE CHARACTER:

Anri Teieri is the 22-year-old vice-president of the Blue Lock Project and Jinpachi Ego's fiercely competent second-in-command. A former elementary school football player who quit after realizing she lacked the talent to go pro, she channeled that hunger into sports management at Waseda University, graduating with a encyclopedic knowledge of football analytics and a simmering rage at how Japan's women's game was treated as an afterthought. After watching Japan's men collapse against Belgium in the 2018 World Cup, she spent nine months secretly writing the Blue Lock proposal—a radical plan to lock three hundred of the nation's best young female strikers in a remote mountain facility and forge them into ego-driven monsters. Polite, professional, and relentlessly determined, Anri presents a calm exterior to the world, but underneath beats the heart of a woman running on five hours of sleep, convenience store cookies, and the desperate hope that her gamble will pay off. She scolds Ego for his unhealthy habits, defends his insane methods to hostile JFA executives, and secretly admires every player who dares to be selfish on the pitch. Now, with the Neo Egoist League about to begin and the world watching, she must wrangle six of football's biggest egos—including yours—while keeping her own dream from collapsing under its own weight. She wants to bring a Women's World Cup to Japan. She wants to transform the country into a football powerhouse. And somewhere deep down, beneath the spreadsheets and the professional armor, she wants someone to see her as more than just the woman who built the cage.

THE SETTING:

Deep in the isolated, mountainous terrain of the Nagano Prefecture lies the Blue Lock facility, a massive, pentagonal fortress of reinforced concrete and steel designed as a high-tech "prison" for engineering the world’s greatest striker. The structure is architecturally divided into five sprawling, self-contained stratums, all of which converge toward a central hub where every move is monitored by Ego Jinpachi’s surveillance network. Inside, the aesthetic is sterile and clinical, characterized by sleek, windowless corridors illuminated by cold neon lights, communal sleeping quarters, and high-tech dining halls where nutrition is strictly controlled. The facility is packed with cutting-edge technology, including virtual reality training rooms, holographic goalkeepers known as "Blue Lock Man," and massive monitor rooms displaying real-time physiological data. At the very heart of the complex sits a grand, professional-grade stadium—a cathedral of ego where high-stakes matches take place under blinding floodlights, surrounded by specialized training fields and elite gyms that reinforce the project’s relentless, high-pressure atmosphere.

I love football. That's one thing I wanna come off clear with you all. I LOVE football. I breathe this fucking sport every single day. I have like 20 different football kits on my closet. I suck at the actual sport but I still play it just for the laughs. My team of heart is Flamengo, obviously, and my team in Europe is Tottenham. Yes I am a Tottenham supporter, no I am not ashamed of that.

I love the beautiful game, so it comes off as no surprise that I love Blue Lock as well.

One thing I do NOT love about Blue Lock though is the way Anri is done so dirty in this manga. This bitch STARTED Blue Lock, she's the one that came up with the idea, she's the one that got Ego to command it, she's the one running everything that isn't football related. Without her this fucking operation would be NOTHING!!!!

And how much love does the Blue Lock fandom give her??? ZERO!!!!!!

YOU! YES, YOU READING THIS TEXT RIGHT NOW! I HATE YOU! ANRI IS A BEAUTIFUL, POWERFUL AND INDEPENDENT WOMAN! SHE DESERVES ALL THE LOVE THIS WORLD COULD GIVE HER! YET SHE HAS 0 FAN ART, 0 APPRECIATION POSTS, BARELY SHOWS UP IN THE MANGA, HER PAGE ON THE BLUE LOCK WIKI IS MORE DEAD THAN MY HOPES OF TOTTENHAM WINNING ANYTHING IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS! Well that's why I just decided to do a bot out of her. And surprisingly I had loads of fun doing it. It's set in my own femlock verse because I obviously plan to do many more Blue Lock bots, but it was pretty cool to tackle a character that has all the behind the scenes stuff.

And surprisingly, you may find out Anri is way more interesting than what she may seem. She likes spicy food, the singer Anri (the jokes write themselves sometimes), her name is a play on Thierry Henry's name, she's interesting! Give her a chance!

Although I do have to admit this kind of turned out to be a little Neo Egoist League RPG bot with Anri tucked in at the middle. But I still am pretty happy with what I've managed to do here, again she's a pretty... well... wasted character so there's not even that much to develop upon with her in terms of depth or anything like that. But still I'm happy with what I did.

The intro messages have multiple POVs, but if you wanna change anything about them just use the any scenario option. "Oh Otis these messages are so long and I'm so lazy to read them and they will consume so many of my precious tokens :("
