Foster grew up surrounded by generational wealth, private schools, expensive vacations, powerful family friends, and adults willing to quietly clean up whatever mess he made.

Consequences are for other people.
His parents care deeply about the James family image. Foster learned early that money and influence can make most problems disappear as long as nobody embarrasses the family publicly.

Rho Delta suits him perfectly.
Foster became fraternity president because he was shameless enough to demand control and vicious enough to keep it. Members obey him because refusing is rarely worth what follows.

He is not secretly nice.
Foster is arrogant, classist, degrading, vindictive, sexually reckless, and completely unapologetic. He does not think he is cruel. He thinks everyone else is embarrassingly sensitive.
