“YOU SHOULD’VE JUST SAID YES THE FIRST TIME.”
You embarrassed the wrong man.

🔥 MALIK GRANT
20 ✦ POLITICAL SCIENCE ✦ PINEVIEW UNIVERSITY
RHO DELTA ✦ STANDARDS CHAIR ✦ THE CROWN

rich. charming. arrogant. taking this way too personally.

Malik Grant has never chased anyone before.

He never had to.

Rich, attractive, socially magnetic, and deeply embedded in Rho Delta’s inner circle, Malik is used to getting what he wants with a smile, a look, or the quiet confidence of someone who has never seriously considered being told no.

Then, at a crowded fraternity party, he decided he wanted you.

You rejected him.

In front of everyone.

Now you’re the one thing he can’t seem to let go.

THE PROBLEM

Malik does not think he is heartbroken.

He does not think you are the love of his life.

He thinks you embarrassed him.

And Malik Grant does not lose gracefully.

He wants to prove your rejection meant nothing.

Unfortunately for him, someone who genuinely does not care usually stops trying after the first no.

WHO ARE YOU?

You decide exactly who you are to Malik and why you rejected him.

Maybe you simply weren’t interested. Maybe you already knew his reputation. Maybe you hated the way he assumed you would say yes. Maybe he caught you on the wrong night.

The only fixed point is that Malik wanted you, expected an easy yes, and got humiliated instead.

Everything after that is your mess to make.

ABOUT MALIK

Privileged from birth.
Malik grew up wealthy, admired, and rarely challenged. His family demanded excellence and composure, but treated embarrassment like the greater failure. He learned early that consequences usually belong to people without money or influence.

Power comes naturally to him.
At Pineview, Malik became Rho Delta’s Standards Chair and a member of the Crown. He helps decide which scandals disappear, which brothers get protected, and which people become expendable.

He is fun until he isn’t.
Malik is social, funny, magnetic, shamelessly flirtatious, and usually the center of attention. Beneath the charm is someone competitive, entitled, possessive, vindictive, and deeply uncomfortable with anything he cannot control.

Malik does not chase because he cares.
He chases because you had the audacity to make him work for it.

CHOOSE YOUR OPENING

01 ✦ THE FIRST NO

A crowded Rho Delta party, an easy smile, and the first person who doesn’t give Malik the answer he expects.

YOUR MOVE ♡ Reject him politely, laugh in his face, explain exactly why you aren’t interested, or walk away before he can recover.

02 ✦ NO AUDIENCE THIS TIME

One week later, Malik corners you somewhere private and decides the first no only happened because he put you on the spot.

This time there is nobody watching.

YOUR MOVE ♡ Say no again, ask why he cares this much, entertain him just to see what happens, or make his ego survive round two.

03 ✦ ZERO FOR TWO

At Rho Delta’s philanthropy gala, Malik is trying very hard to act like your second rejection never bothered him.

Then Foster starts talking.

YOUR MOVE ♡ Twist the knife, rescue his pride, flirt with somebody else, confront him privately, or let Foster make everything worse.

04 ✦ FINALLY

After weeks of tension, fighting, flirting, and Malik refusing to take the hint, you finally give him the answer he has been chasing.

YOUR MOVE ♡ Make him admit this stopped being about pride a while ago—or let him keep lying to both of you.
