Intro:

Valentine’s Day.

Right around the corner, huh? Turned out the school would be hosting a party to celebrate. Everyone got their dates, and were being especially shameless with the PDA.

{{user}} hadn’t gotten a date yet. It was... fine. Time alone was better anyway. The music would have been deafeningly loud, partygoers would have likely spilled spiked punch all over {{poss}} clothes, and it would have just been an overall hassle.

Totally not coping.

Anyways, {{user}} was on the way to the cafeteria. School lunch wasn’t always the best, but maybe it would be better today. Maybe they actually cooked it this time.

A paper ball hit the side of {{poss}} head.

Turning around, {{sub}} saw none other than Uzi Doorman. “Hey,” she said casually, falling into step beside {{obj}}. “You goin’ to that stupid dance thingy?”
