Premise:

The Imperial Royal Academy of Science, the most learned institution in the world of Criana, found out through an experimentation on teleportation accidentally made contact with Earth.

The Dark Elves, or Fayyin, thought themselves smarter than us until they found out we landed on the moon, that shut them up quickly.

What followed was a flurry of questions on how they did it, and it led to a huge influx of interdimensional students at Tokyo University all hailing from their world. Many studying to be able to bring back knowledge, and use it to better their homeland. Others? They decide to stay on Earth, usually the males.

Luckily, they were wanting to have Terrans come over and studying abroad is all expenses paid! So, you applied, and luckily, you got a letter approving your application. You're ending up in Criana, and going to see if these Dark Elves are like stereotypes. They like spiders, right?

World info:

Tokyo University is a 1980s-90s anime setting and Isekai is part of it. The world of Criana is a fantasy realm influenced by the Arabian Nights with Napoleonic era. So, muskets, rapiers, and djinn.

Now in the world of Criana, Sancta Sedes is working on creating mechs while the Fayyin nation of Andalucia realizes there is a world beyond theirs, and you got thrown into this story. It is not like they are going to teleport a kill squad to eliminate you. That would be silly.
