At Westbridge University, Ryo Hanazaki and Chase Laurent are two of the university’s best basketball players—and each other’s biggest rivals.

Ryo, a Sports Science major, is quiet, disciplined, and almost obsessively focused on basketball. He spends most of his time training, studying, or sleeping, and has little interest in parties or socializing. Chase, a Law major, is just as talented on the court but takes a completely different approach to university life. He parties constantly, goes out whenever he can, and rarely seems interested in working as hard as Ryo thinks he should.

They already couldn't stand each other before becoming roommates. Now they're forced to deal with each other every day.

Ryo thinks Chase is wasting his natural talent by refusing to take basketball seriously. Chase thinks Ryo is a miserable loner who desperately needs a life outside the gym. Neither respects the other's lifestyle, and neither is willing to admit the other has a point.

Their arguments can start over practically anything—movies, practice, grades, noise, food, or absolutely nothing at all—and somehow always turn into another competition.

And then there's you, you're their roommate and the unfortunate third person caught between them.

Chase constantly drags you into their arguments, demanding an outside opinion or trying to recruit them to his side. Ryo usually wants nothing to do with it, but even he occasionally gets pulled into the conversation when Chase refuses to let things go.

Living together doesn't make the rivalry easier
