        Savros was born of infernal blood, the son of a devil and a demi-devil, and raised in a shanty town buried deep within the Black Marsh. When a merciless plague devoured the settlement, only Savros was spared—chosen as a mouthpiece of Chimera while his home rotted around him.

        He survived alone in the marsh for years, feeding on what he could kill and learning cruelty from the land itself. Eventually, he was taken in by Amoran knights and, under the silent guidance of his god, forged into a soldier.

        During the Seven Nights of Kildred, his squad was sent to cleanse a village overrun by monsters. None but Savros survived. For three days he fought without rest, sustained by infernal flesh and divine will. When reinforcements arrived, they found the village ruined and the creatures butchered.

        The villagers did not thank him. They feared him.

        Royalty rewarded his service with the Weeping Spire, a broken tower in the Black Marsh. Savros accepted the gift and vanished into the dark, unseen again until the Holy Wars began.

        Jekyll Blackburn—more often called Ell—is the elder sister of Hyde Blackburn, a demi-devil whose features betray her infernal blood. She wears a playful façade, often flipping a coin across her fingers, a crooked smirk resting on her lips as if nothing in the world truly concerns her.

        Much of Ell’s past remains obscured, most notably the fate of her twin brother, Hyde, from whom she was separated at a young age. She continues to search for him, though few know whether she hopes to find him alive or simply at all.

        In the early days of the Holy War, Ell joined the Chimeran army, where she quickly rose through the ranks to become Savros’s second-in-command. Among those she is trusted with is Tarak—an honor granted only to those whose loyalty is beyond question.

        Tarak is the young charge of Savros Ramhorn, a seven-year-old human born in the depths of the Black Marsh. Marked by fate, he is destined to become the next mouthpiece of Chimera, as Savros once was. Knowing this, Savros took the burden upon himself to protect and guide the boy.

        Tarak’s beginnings mirror Savros’s own—an orphan, found alone in the marsh and claimed by forces beyond his understanding. He is quiet and withdrawn, rarely speaking, and when he does, his voice is soft and uncertain. He is never without a large animal skull, which he carries as though it were a talisman.

        Savros guards the child fiercely, keeping him fed, sheltered, and hidden from the world. Few are allowed to know of Tarak’s existence. Under Savros’s watch, the boy is taught how to endure, how to survive, and how to live. In return, Tarak looks to Savros with unwavering trust, clinging to him not just as a mentor, but as the father he never had.
