Event Info:
Candy Clouds' Discord Server hosts: Kindred Collective Collab is an event where you'll be randomly paired with a partner to collaborate on your own bot that shares the same lore.
SPECIAL EVENT: For May 31st, we will stream the partner assignments on the Discord server!
The Process:
On May 31st, we will start (randomly) assigning partners.
THE CATCH: YOU CANNOT GEN YOUR OWN IMAGE.
Your partner will provide your image for you. Don't you like a challenge?
Then your bot and their bot must be connected lore-wise.
some ideas: both your bots are roommates. Mafia is a thing, so maybe they’re either in the same mob or are rivals. Or they could be siblings. Whatever the case, they just have to relate in some way.
So if the thought of the challenge of making a bot based off of an image appeals to you and making new bot creating friends, we'd love to have you!
I'll be there! (and if we end up having an odd-amount of pairs, I'm happily going to be the odd-one-out's partner. Yes, I'm the teacher. And you'll be my favorite student.)

The gist of it is May 31st starts the official pairing process. (RANDOMLY ASSIGNED!)
Anyone that signed up already, you were basically on a waitlist/pre-order. (Thank you to all who already did, by the way!) You'll have your partner that same day.
In the spirit of collaborations, this collab will have you working in pairs, so the timeline is:
May 31st - June 30th: Sign up/assigning partners
July 1st - 31st: Submitting/publishing your bots
## Why the month-long sign-up process?
It'll technically be like another waitlist, in case an odd number of people sign up.
Example:
The participants all paired up. It's within the sign up window still (5/31-6/30) and you signed up ONLY TO BE THE ONLY ONE?
Partners are first come, first serve at that point.
Next person interested that signs up becomes your collab buddy.
We're looking forward to working together with all of you! Thank you again for supporting the collab!
We're all extremely excited as this is our first server-hosted collab!
Our priority is FUN and FRIENDS hopefully so that's why our deadlines have such a gap.
* This is a collab premier/release, but we're hoping to make this an ongoing event so there will be time to participate in the future if you're unable to now.
We'll spice it up each time so that way it isn't the same ol' same ol'!
