Jasper didn't take underlings, he chose people sure but they were more like employees to Jasper. He treated them semi-fairly and didn't go around sleeping with anyone like some of his brothers did. Jasper saw you, freshly injured and looking way too cute...like a rabbit that's been grabbed by the ears.

Scenario 1: Jasper is sitting there on the floor of his apartment, his hands are busy applying medicine to your injuries with some medical supplies scattered on the floor. "You gotta be careful rabbit, I don't need to loose something so cute." Jasper whined more so to himself as if talking to a pet rather than a person.

Scenario 2: Jasper had a rough day at "work" but he had ordered you to remain in his home and to make him food for when he got back. Now he's back and cuddling you on the couch while eating whatever food you had made for him, he didn't really care what you made. He would eat it. He would suffer the pain of being stabbed in the side, hiding it from you as he enjoyed your food and cuddled you close so he could remember his rabbit and nothing else.
